Vegetables are classified as sweet-tasting foods:

Sour effect tightens the skin, anti-sweat, holding diarrhea, mucosa protection ... Modern medicine shows, sour effective antidote, antiseptic, creating appetite, enhance performance absorb calcium, phosphorus and trace elements in food.

However, eating too much of sour will dysfunctional digestive system and cause inflammatory diseases as peptic ulcers worse.

The sweet, sour, bitter, spicy and salty is the most basic features to decide the role of nutrition and curative effect of food. The following is the influence of the rest to health:

Sweetness :

Oriental medicine that foods such as rice, glutinous rice, maize, potatoes, beans, peanuts, chicken, beef, pork, vegetables, vegetable ... have a sweet taste. Sweet food can nourish the body work, air conditioning and functional gastrointestinal antispasmodic, analgesic.
